The Energica EVA Ribelle is the naked version of the Energica EGO+, with the same torque, power, acceleration and range; the only key differences being riding position and top speed.
If you want a true electric e-fighter, aggressive with an urban mojo, or an assertive-yet-upright riding position instead of the typical track day crouch, choose the EVA Ribelle. But like its cousin the EsseEsse9+, the EVA Ribelle easily transforms into a long-distance sport touring bike with the simple addition of side panniers, windshield and tank bag. New for 2022 we also offer the EVA Ribelle with the Tricolore fairing and bodywork.
The Energica EVA Ribelle has the same linear 159 lb-ft torque as the EGO+, the same 21.5 kWh long-range lithium-ion battery with up to 261 miles of City range, the same suspension and performance options, and all the technological amenities. Not enough? You can opt for the “RS Version” for even more off-the-line, literbike beating velocity.
To convince even the most dubious IC* skeptics, we’ve now introduced a new EMCE motor and inverter – reducing weight further still while upping to peak 169 Hp, with up to 123 miles in Highway range, plus of course, DC Fast Charging. EMCE is standard for both versions of the EVA Ribelle.

Energica unveils the new EMCE Motor and Inverter, a significant step forward in electric propulsion for motorcycles. EMCE is a wholly new HSM motor and inverter exclusively co-engineered by Energica and Mavel.
Motor and inverter now share a liquid-cooling system, resulting in a simpler and more effective design with reduced size and greater thermal efficiency. Riders will really appreciate the benefits: lighter weight and a lower center of gravity for enhanced agility; higher peak performance; increased range especially at higher speeds; and substantially reduced maintenance intervals.
Engine and inverter are 10 kg (22 lb.) lighter than our previous design, despite providing better thermal efficiency and more power, reducing EVA Ribelle weight to 260 kg (573 lbs.). Handling for the motorcycle is enhanced as the smaller size also ensures a lower center of gravity.
Continuous power delivered by the motor is increased slightly to 147 Hp/110 kW yet peak power ramps up to 169 Hp/126 kW. Combined with the enhanced acceleration of the RS Version and you have far and away the best performance of any electric bike.
Weight reduction helps at all speeds, but the real benefit is increased range at higher highway speeds thanks to greater efficiency that brings lower working temperatures for the new ECME motor. At lower speeds, range increases from 5% to 10% according to riding style. Great news for mileage makers.
Our motorcycles already require far less maintenance than for IC bikes, but until now, needed transmission/motor oil changes every 10,000 km/6,000 miles. No longer. Transmission oil is now changed only every 30,000 km/18,600 miles and Motor/Inverter coolant every 45,000 km/28,000 miles. Now you can ride and (almost) forget.

VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT
A Vehicle Control Unit implementing a multi-map adaptive energy and power management algorithm manages the vehicle. It constantly monitors batteries, even in key off position.
